Steven Kotler is the author of seventeen books, including thirteen bestsellers. His work has been nominated for three Pulitzer Prizes and translated into more than eighty languages.
His nonfiction books—The Rise of Superman, Stealing Fire, and The Art of Impossible—helped define the modern science and practice of peak performance. Stealing Fire was named Best Business Book of the Year by both CNBC and Strategy + Business, while Abundance was selected by Fortune as one of year’s best business books.
Kotler is also the author of multiple works of science fiction, including Last Tango in Cyberspace and The Devil’s Dictionary, novels that explore empathy, altered states, emerging technology, and the strange pressures reshaping the future. His debut novel, The Angle Quickest for Flight, won the William L. Crawford Fantasy Award.
